Susan O'Connor

Susan's work centres on the repetition of small units to build an arresting whole. The aim is to create work that is at its most interesting at the extreme of close up or distance. Her palette is rich and jewel-like, including shimmering surfaces that catch the eye and throw the viewer off-guard, creating a tension between beauty and surprise.

Susan's work was chosen for exhibition by the Scottish Glass Society in 2016 and 2017.
