Family Album
26th October - 24th November 2024
In a first for Doubtfire, we present an exhibition by three award-winning artists in the same family as a focused group show - Chris Nugent, who we have shown before, his wife Pamela Richardson and daughter Hannah Richardson Nugent. Chris will be showing a new strand of work, using a combination of metals depicting Scotland’s coastal scenes - primarily steel and copper that he has altered over time to exploit its textural and tonal qualities. These pieces will be displayed with his familiar and dynamic painted cityscapes of Edinburgh. Pamela’s work explores the dynamic interactions between flora and the built environment and Hannah’s work has been made using lithographs, screen prints and risographs made by the artist in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

‘Landscapes and garden imagery are the subject matter for this group of acrylic paintings, inspired by the view of my small city garden.
